Development of Electro Homeopathy in India
Medical Board of Electro Homoeopathy System of Medicine MBEHSM plays a very vital role in the Development of Electro Homeopathy in India.Its a mattaer of fact that During 1880-1890 Electrohomoeopathy was spread in India. As per book “Theory & practice of Electrohomoeopathy” published from Geneva and Newyork, the first Indian Electrohomoeopath Dr. Anna of Chitoor, Madras presidency was the stockiest of Electrohomoeopathic medicine for India and south Asia. In 1885 Dr.Father Augustus Murller established an Electrohomoeopathic Charitable Leprosy Hospital at Kankannady, Mangalore of south India with financial aid by Dr.C.C Mattie of Italy. DR.Baladev Prasad Saxena was the first North Indian Electrohomoeopath who has started a school of this science at Lucknow in 1970. Later on in 1911 Dr. N.L.Sinha also started an Electrohomoeopathic Institutions at Kanpur. In India, there are various councils / Boards are conducting course of Electrohomoeopathic system of Medicine all over India and various association also functioning and playing active role and arranging functions / conferences in various places of India.
In Odisha Electrohomoeopathic system of Medicine came in contact with general public in the year 1980. Now about 2000 Electrohomoeopath also practicing this system of medicine in Odisha. SEPA, Odisha is an association of practitioners of Electrohomoeopath, which work for the development of Electrohomoeopathy in Odisha and organized various type of programme for providing highly developed health service to the people of Odisha. There are various organizations like SEMSOR, ERDCO, SHEEDA, KERF, etc in Odisha involved in the research work on Electrohomoeopathic system of Medicine
In the year 1880, one person from south India was came in to contact with Dr.count ceaser Mattei as a patients. And in the year 1885, a Leprosy Hospital was established by Dr. Father Muller at Kankanady near Mangalore through the supervision of Dr.Count Ceaser Mattei. Dr Anna of Madras was the first Electrohomoeopathic medicine stockist and distributor for India and south Asia. Dr Baldev Prasad Saxena was the first Electrohomoeoapath of India. In the year 1907, he had started a School of electrohomoeopathy in Lucknow. Later on Dr.S. P.Srivastva established educational institutions of Electrohomoeopathy at Allabad. And Dr. N.L sinha also started an Institution at Kanpur. It is brought into popularity by N.L.Sinha by establishing National University of Electro Complex University at Kanpur in the year 1920.Some renowned Homoeopathic physician also started practice with Electrohomoeopathic medicine like Dr. Radha Madhav Haldder, Dr.
- D banarjee, Dr. B.K.Paul and Dr. Yadhuvir Singh (founder of Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Medical college, Delhi, and also wrote various literature / books on the subject.
From this period the Electrohomoeopathic system of medicine gets popular among the people and in the year 1953 Dr. N.L.Sinha contacted our first Prime minister Sjt. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru for the propose of recognition of Electrohomoeopathy in India and after the followers of Dr. N.L.Sinha like Dr.N.K. Awasthy, Dr. A.N.Bakshi, Dr.R.C.Prasad, Dr. H.M Idris,etc are also running institutions of Electrohomoeopathy and doing research work and struggling for the recognition of Electrohomoeopathy in India from that period.
Now there are various Institutions are running all over India. All the Institutions are autonomous body being registered under society registration act, and NEHM of India, Delhi also authorized by the Deputy Health Minister, Govt . Of India, for the Promotion, Development, Research in India. Various Pharmaceutical Researchers are also researching about the Electrohomoeopathic medicine and also preparing various types of patent products by using Electrohomoeo Medicine.
